Tamsin Grainger | Bridal fashion | Cotswold Bride magazine | Manor by the Lake | 14th July 2015
It’s not everyday you get a popular bridal magazine asking you to arrange a four page bridal fashion photo shoot. Well, 3 weeks ago Fiona, from Cotswold Bride magazine, did just that. There was only one venue for the photo shoot in my mind, and that was Manor by the Lake. It is not just the venue being exquisite and a photographer’s dream, but the staff’s attitude and friendliness is so humble, as if they’ve welcomed you to their own home. Laura Stanbridge and Gemma Schofield were magic at the Manor by the Lake, they were so helpful and made everything possible. Now a photo shoot needs a team… So, Tamsin Grainger was my first choice model, along with two make up artists, Chelsea Whittle and Hayley Johnson. Along with Hayley came Cherina Latimer who took care of the hairstyling. This was my dream team. Now for the main icing, who would supply the dresses for the shoot? Doing a Google search for bridal shops in the area of Peterborough, I came across ‘The Wedding Room’, situated in the grounds of Peterborough Cathedral. Rachel, who owns The Wedding Room in Peterborough, kindly supplied the wedding dresses, shoes and plenty of accessories for the shoot. Rachel and her assistant Laura, were absolutely brilliant and they will be using my photography to promote their bridal wear and shop. On the 14th of July, it was the day of the shoot. Vikki Wells from Floral passion, very kindly supplied the sensational bouquet for the shoot. My dream team were also in charge of mix and matching the bridal wear; I mean an opinion of four ladies for a wedding dress is no match for one man! The shoot went perfectly and the ladies had an amazing experience and time together. The results of the shoot were fantastic and will be featuring in this September’s 2015 Cotswold Bride magazine.
