Fairy of the Brook | Sophia | Dartmoor | 15th May 2018

Hidden quietly within a brook on Dartmoor, is a secret of a waterfall, a double waterfall to be precise. Not on any maps, this is Dartmoor’s most beautiful waterfall and my setting for this fairy themed fashion shoot.

Supplying the wings is the one and only Wicked Fairy Wings, who have given me the wonderful task of creating all the elements for this fashion shoot. But one credit I cannot take are the wing’s creator, Sarabeth, owner of Wicked Fairy Wings. Taking over from her mother, Emma, Sarabeth supplied me with a mix of wings, from new range fairy to dragonfly wings. To see the full range of wicked fairy wings, fly to their website here WFW.

Coming from Winchester is our fairy, Sophia. I met Sophia (before she became a fairy) at a wedding last year. I knew she would be perfect for this shoot. Not only had she not become a fairy before, Sophia told me that she had never seen a real waterfall. Well, she was about to model and get in one. Dartmoor has many waterfalls, so after the shoot I promised to show Sophia another waterfall, at Burrator.

Special thanks to Ange and Steve at the Barnabas House, Yelverton, for letting a fairy come and prepare for her shoot. Barnabas house is a gorgeous Dartmoor guest house and if it is good enough for a fairy, then it is damn good enough for us humans!
